I was going through my to do list for my blog posts and realised I have never done a compilation on best acne treatment creams so I will be listing Best Acne & Pimple Treatment Creams/Gels available in India.Some of the options are available Internationally as well.So lets just quickly brush up on the type of treatments gel/creams available before we proceed to the options available.Often one or combination of two of them give optimum results with respect to acne treatment.

2)Clindac A
Clindamycin is very commonly prescribed antibiotic for acne.It is available in both gel and lotion variants.But good thing is it is easily available from many brands like Aclin,Cinar Gel, D'Acne, Clintop, Glintra, Clinmiskin, Erytop etc.
Severity of Acne:Mild-Moderate acne.

3)Glintra Gel / Actreat Gel
This was prescribed by my kaya skin clinic doctor and does not exactly come under antibiotics category.Nicotinamide is Vitamin B3 derivative which treats acne inflammations.
This is a Combination of Nicotinamide + Clindamycin which makes it even more effective gel to combat pimples.I did not get much success with Clindamycin gels but the when combined Nicotinamide,I could see pimples healing faster and breakouts under control.Other products with similar formula Glintra Gel, Femincol Gel, Nadoxin, Clinmide etc

Sefpil is 5% Glycolic acid+10% Mandelic acid cream excellent for acne scars and hyper-pigmentation.

7)Benzac AC Gel
Benzoyl peroxide is known to kill acne causing bacteria and treat acne.Though you will need additional treatment for treating acne blemishes,dark spots or pitted acne scars.Benzac is available in various strengths of 2.5%,5% and so on.Personally,I have felt Benzoyl peroxide works best in combination with a retinoid like Epiduo.

8)Avene Triacneal

10)Retino A/Retino AC Gel
One of the most common retinoids prescribed by doctors.It available in 2 variants: Retino A Cream and Retino AC Gel with Clindamycin.It is available in various strengths 0.01% ,0.025,0.04%,0.1%,0.5%.I found Retino AC gel works better than Retino A.Similar retinoid gel formulations are Supatret,Nextret Gel,Adapelene Gel.
