Pro's:

1)It comes with a hygienic tube packaging.

2)It comes in tinted and non-tinted variants.

3)The inner core contains shea butter and outer core adds a hint of colour.

3)It contains sunscreen SPF 15.

4)Cherry variant is the most pigmented balm and covers lip discolourations.

Con's:

1)For some strange reason Lakme does not disclose ingredient list on any of their products.

2)Hence I cannot say if its paraben-free or not.

3)It isn't moisturising enough especially for chapped lips/winters.

4)It does not last more than 2 hours.

5)Tinted ones have strong artificial fragrances which I do not like.

6)Non-tinted version which is Vanilla flavour leaves white waxy layer.

Directions for use:

Twist up the lip balm and apply on your lips.Reapply if necessary.

Final Verdict:

Honestly Lakme Lip Love Lip Care Lip Balms did not meet my expectations. Most of times I use non-tinted versions and Vanilla variant was a total disappointment. It leaves a white waxy layer after application which is really odd and moisturisation is also not up to the mark.On the other end,Cherry was a nice lip balm which adds a subtle pink hint of colour and moisturises too.But between Lakme and Maybelline Baby lips, these lip balms are no comparison. It does not deliver at all.Even the price is not justified,Maybelline and Nivea Lip balms which are some of the best lip balms are priced around Rs.100-150.I am not really happy with these lip balms, there is nothing exceptional about them.If you really want to try these, then go for tinted variants.Just go for Maybelline Baby Lips which are the best lip balms I have used.

My Rating:3/5
